Greetings from 35 Greenfield Road, our glorious abode that you helped us acquire back in July of 2002. We've been very happy
with the house (we've made many improvements!) and also with the town of Milford. We're forever in your debt for the great job you did guiding us through the process of moving here.
Traci and I have become big believers in the future viability of the Milford real estate market. (our home has appreciated more than 50% in three years.) While we
recognize that, nationally, the market is finally beginning to cool a bit from it's explosive growth of the last decade or so, we believe that Milford, with it's desirable
waterfront location, will continue to see home values grow steadily - if not stratospherically - for the foreseeable future.
In particular, we see the relatively depressed-looking Walnut Beach area as a place that would seem to be presently undervalued, but with an outstanding prognosis for
solid future growth. Consider: Significant large-scale commercial real estate development (condos) is underway along the main thoroughfare; there are plans to
extend the boardwalk to link with Silver Sands State Park; posh "McMansions" are sprouting up at an accelerating pace - particularly along the direct beach front -
amongst the generally modest and often dilapidated 75-year-old capes and renovated beach cottages that pervade the area; Walnut Beach is adjacent to Laurel Beach,
which has already developed into a truly lovely area featuring glorious old Victorian homes that have been spectacularly renovated. We believe that all of these trends
support the notion that Walnut Beach is, as they say in the real estate investment trade, "a coming place".
We are therefore interested in exploring the possibility of purchasing a second property there as an investment. We're hoping that you might help us explore the
possibilities. Is there a convenient time that we might speak on the phone or perhaps stop by your office to visit with you? Better yet, perhaps you'd like to stop by some evening for a glass of wine...
